Test & Data Migration Lead (Contract)We are URGENTLY seeking an experiencedTest & Data Migration Leadto drive strategy, planning, and execution for a system integration programme within a B2B environment. This role will be responsible for defining the end-to-end testing strategy, managing data migration activities, determining required tooling, and advising on service model decisions. The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of bothTestingandData Migration , with proven capability in planning, governance, and execution support across multiple workstreams.Key Responsibilities for the Test & Data Migration Lead:Define the overalltest approach and strategyfor the programme TheTest & Data Migration Leadwill identify the full test lifecycle requirements (UAT, SIT, regression, acceptance criteria) Translate business scenarios into structuredtest plans and methodologies Establish theright testing frameworks, tools, and processes Support and guideUAT planningwith internal stakeholders Own thedata migration strategy , roadmap and execution approach Identify and assess data sources, tooling requirements, andmigration methods TheTest & Data Migration Leadwill work with technical teams todefine migration workflows,validation rules andreporting Ensure traceability, cleanliness, validation, reconciliation and sign-off criteria Assess and recommend appropriatetesting and migration tools Evaluateinsourcing vs outsourcingrecommendations TheTest & Data Migration Leadwilladvise on methodologies(e.g., iterative, phased, big-bang approach) based on risk and timeline Work with business stakeholders to defineAS-IS and TO-BEprocesses Identifyquick winimprovements in approach, tooling or migration scope Provide clear documentation,status reporting and risk tracking Providestructured governancearoundrisks, dependencies, reportingandquality gates.TheTest & Data Migration LeadRequired Experience: TheTest & Data Migration Leadwill have proven experience deliveringend-to-end Testingfor system integration programmes Strong hands-on experience withData Migration(strategy + execution) Experience inB2B environmentsand multi-system integration TheTest & Data Migration Leadwill have strong understanding ofUAT , outcomes definition and user readiness Ability to buildclear strategies and planswhile challenging assumptions Exposure to working with technical and business teams across multiple domains Knowledge of common test tools anddata migration tooling Ability to document and communicate key decisions clearly Strong planning and governance mindset Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority Hybrid engagement with1 day/week onsite in London Collaboration across Testing, Data, Architecture and Programme teamsTo apply, please sendyour CV ASAP.
