Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnered again with our clients in Glasgow City Centre as they are looking to welcome a new Senior Management Accountant to their team on a full time and permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of monthly FTE figures preparation/ headcount reporting.
- Monthly review of the management accounts for the International office and provide support to the local finance teams.
- Review of UK management accounts and supporting reports prepared by the Management Accountants.
- Monthly balance sheets reconciliations
- Provide support to senior management and the business as necessary.
- Provide budget support as and when required.
- Coordinate with the external auditors throughout the annual audit fieldwork process, to ensure timey response to audit queries and deadlines are met.
- Specific areas of responsibility during the annual audit
- Line management and delegation of work to the Management Accountant as appropriate.
Essential skills and experience
- Accounting qualification essential (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA etc).
- Experience of reviewing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Good understanding of FRS 102 and statutory reporting.
- Highly numerate with a good understanding of financial and management information systems.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills, ability to manipulate and make sense of large volumes of data.
