Director of Building Surveying

I am working exclusively with a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy to recruit a Director of Building Surveying to lead and grow our talented team. This strategic appointment is part of my client's succession planning, ensuring the future of their practice.

My client provides expert services across building surveying, project management, cost consultancy, and fire safety. With a strong reputation built on trust and technical excellence, my client works across a wide range of sectors, including residential, education, commercial, and heritage. Their client base includes local authorities, housing associations, private developers, and government bodies, where they deliver solutions that align with their strategic goals. With offices in London and Scotland, they provide nationwide expertise with a personal touch.

The Role:

  • Oversee and grow the Building Surveying division, ensuring service excellence across diverse projects.
  • Lead business development, driving new opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
  • Take responsibility for the overall performance, growth, and profitability of the team.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior surveyors, ensuring professional development across the team.
  • Work with directors across disciplines to enhance the consultancy's success.
