WE ARE

SoftServe is looking for Cyber Security Director to run a Multi-million Euro Security Services Pipeline in the EU. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in developing, leading, and delivering Cyber Security engagements, coupled with the stature and capability to engage with executives at CTO/CXO/Board levels. Experience in EU Public Sector is welcomed as well.


The great candidate is used to navigating ambiguity and limited information, is decisive and agile in execution and builds teams confidence in the end state. An entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the ability to lead from the front and ensure operational excellence, is essential. Effective communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders, along with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities, are prerequisites. The candidate should be a visible leader adopting a hands-on approach to ensure the highest quality deliverables for our clients. Finally, strong ethical values and operating with the utmost integrity in the marketplace is critical.


IF YOU ARE

  • Well-versed in the cyber cloud security landscape, with expertise in risk assessment, Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC), Cloud, and Infrastructure Security
  • Experienced in implementing frameworks such as CSA CCM, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC2, or similar
  • Skilled in designing, developing, and scaling security services for diverse environments
  • A persuasive communicator with strong presentation skills and fluent spoken English (upper-intermediate or higher)
  • Proficient in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies with hands-on experience
  • Adept in conducting comprehensive security analyses and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and risks, and recommending actionable improvements
  • Experienced in ensuring software security, privacy, and quality by implementing industry best practices, standards, and controls
  • Skilled in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, simulating real-world attacks, and delivering effective mitigation strategies
  • Capable of providing operational IT security support, including incident response, security monitoring, and timely resolution of security-related issues
  • Qualified with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Certified in professional credentials such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, OSCP, or similar
  • Experienced with at least 10 years in information security and a proven ability to manage client services, multiple engagement teams, and projects


AND YOU WANT TO:

  • Drive cyber security strategy, services and capabilities
  • Lead a client’s portfolio of engagements
  • Establish relationships with the clients CTO/CxO and their direct reports
  • Work with clients to identify opportunities, scope engagements, and create high quality proposals
  • Manage engagements to time and budget, including assuring the highest quality deliverables: advisory reports, technical studies, managed security services etc
  • Contribute to the development of the cyber security team and acting as mentor and coach to the members of the team and leading by example
  • Contribute to the latest thought-leadership, industry research relating to cyber security
  • Facilitate the sales and pursuits a consultative solution selling approach enabling SoftServe’s client services
  • Exercise creativity, independent judgment, and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and complex business solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Interact with all roles at customer – including CTO, CISO, IT Architects, technical staff and Business representatives
  • Lead assessment and discovery analysis from security standpoint
  • Lead security programs and risk assessment (from security standpoint)
  • Perform security program design, understand client needs and convert it to technical requirements
  • Represent SoftServe delivery artifact on the client stakeholders
  • Work with client stakeholders to build trust and represent cyber security competence on the C-Level stakeholders
