When the guest walks through the door, imagine the look on their face when they take that first look around, all the planning has been executed down to the smallest detail. Youll help deliver the warmest welcomes and most memorable events that keep them coming back again and again.

Youll make suggestions to create the most unique events that stand out from any others and ensure its unique and one of a kind.

What youll do

• Respond to all golf and group sport event enquires across various channels for the cluster of 7 hotels
• Build strong relationships with Golf Wholesales, Sports Agents and Teams
• Accuratelyforecastsgolf&sportgrouprooms,greenfeerevenue&catering
• Proactivelycrossreferleadopportunitieswithinclusterforboththesesegmentsor otherMarriottpropertieswhereappropriate
• Coordinationofallcustomerrequirements,includingcommunicationandcompletingverbally andinwritingwiththecustomerthedetails ofaneventuptohandovertoonpropertyteam.
• ExecutionofMarriottGolfPromotionalwindowsandGolfPowerupweekevents
• ProvidesClusterlevelsupporttoall hotelsasrequiredandrequestedforthegolf&sportsegment
• Trainingandexecutionof59ClubGolfenquirystandards,continuallyreviewandagreeimprovementactionstoensurebenchmarkpercentageis exceeded
• OwnershipforthemanagementandconversionofassignedenquiriesfromSportsTeams, Wholesale,SocietyandCorporateGolfDays(Worsley Park,TudorPark,Breadsall & StPierreforCorporateGolfDaysonly)
• Whilst the role will predominately be focused on golf and group events you may be required to support with other event enquiries and bookings

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days, predominately Monday Friday day shifts although there may be the need to cover weekends or evenings for showrounds or to welcome your Clients for their event, after all you wouldnt miss out seeing the smile on their face after all of your planning.
