ICT Digital Service Development Officer- The Role: Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and creating innovative solutions Join our ICT Services team as a Digital Service Development Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on public services and work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. ICT Digital Service Development Officer -Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of user-centric digital solutions across the Council, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with our digital strategy - Design, test, and implement digital forms, workflows, and integrations using tools such as Power Automate, PowerShell, and Microsoft Copilot Studio - Engage stakeholders through user research, collaborating with vendors, and using feedback and analytics to inform development - Support project delivery, maintain documentation, and upskill system users ICT Digital Service Development Officer -You: - Experience in technical development, systems integration, and interfacing IT systems - A strong track record of involvement in projects and an understanding of project methodologies - Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and software development - Skills in analysing and reporting spatial data - A graduate-level qualification, or a technical qualification with relevant experience - Experience with tools and languages such as Power BI, PowerShell, HTML, SQL, JavaScript, XML, VB Script, ASP, and C# .NET - Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Access, Excel, and report-writer packages Benefits of working for Rushcliffe Borough Council include: - Working in purpose-built offices and reduced membership of the onsite leisure centre - Free car parking - Rushcliffe Rewards - save money across a range of retailers and leisure providers - Generous annual leave and opportunities to buy and sell leave - An opportunity to further your career with a high performing forward looking Authority with training to support CPD and personal development - Local Government pension scheme - A range of salary sacrifice schemes Rushcliffe Borough Council supports flexible and part time working in line with the needs of the public that we serve and the business needs of the Council.
