Electrical Project Manager – Data CentreMEP Contracting / Building ServicesHertfordshire Permanent Our client, a leading Tier 1 MEP Contractor, is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major data centre project in Hertfordshire, scheduled for completion at the end of 2027.As part of this highly respected organisation, you will take responsibility for managing all electrical aspects of the project, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate all on-site electrical activitiesEnsure compliance with project specifications, health & safety standards, and industry regulationsLead, support, and manage electrical teams, subcontractors, and suppliersCarry out inspections, quality checks, and monitor progress against programmeCollaborate with project management, design teams, and other disciplines to resolve technical issuesProvide regular progress reports, identifying risks, issues, and mitigation plansRequirementsProven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Construction ManagerData centre project experience is essentialStrong understanding of electrical building services within large-scale MEP projectsAbility to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams effectivelyExcellent knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and industry regulationsStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to problem-solve and manage technical issues quickly and professionallyValid CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid certifications (preferred)Salary & Package£90,000 - £100,000 base salary Car allowanceTravel expenses (mileage and train fares)25 days annual leavePrivate healthcareGenerous pension schemeLife assuranceBonus potentialIf you're interested, please apply or email your CV to megan.field@peoplegroup.com
