Mobile Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Cleaner to join our team and undertake cleaning duties across various premises. As part of a dynamic team, you will ensure that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Sweep, suction clean, mop, dry buff, spray clean, wax, machine scrub and dry, strip and re-polish floors using appropriate equipment.
  • Clean and remove stains from soft floor surfaces such as carpets and matting.
  • Maintain toilet and shower areas, ensuring fixtures and fittings are hygienic.
  • Clean, wash, and dust ledges, walls, fixtures, fittings, and internal surfaces up to 3.35 meters, including polishing furniture where necessary.
  • Empty and clean internal litter bins, removing litter to designated collection points.
  • Cover for colleagues during absences and report your own absences in accordance with procedures.
  • Wear protective clothing and flat-soled, enclosed-toe footwear as required for cleaning duties.
  • Use and care for cleaning equipment appropriately, reporting any defects immediately.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork diligently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, and other legal requirements related to cleaning.
  • Willingness to undergo training for jobs graded at a higher level when required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to Education Authority procedures.
  • Good physical condition to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
