Job Title: Revenue Assurance Officer - Self-PayLocation: Prestatyn North WalesAnnual Salary Up to 28099.50 (Dependant on Experience) plus bonus up to 250 per monthShifts: Full Time (37.5 hours) Monday-Friday 9AM-5PMPermanent We are looking for a Revenue Assurance Officer to join our Revenue Assurance team based in Prestatyn. Reporting to Self Pay Team Leader the candidate will assist the group wide management of recording resolution and payment of accounts that remain unpaid following treatment by the payor or accounts in a credit status. The role will involve frequent interaction with facility staff and Senior Management Clinical Teams and internal and external teams to assist in the resolution of the accounts.Above all else were committed to the care and improvement of human life. Others may think this is just a role in our Contact Centre team but to us youll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose one that helps improve lives daily.What youll do:Contacts & resolvesunderpaid claims relating to bulk issues identified with specific self-funding patientsPerforms appropriate follow up with Payer and gains commitment for payment.Identifies and communicates contract related issues to Contracts leadership as appropriate.Collaboratively works with 3rd party debt collection agency for self pay invoicesReviews self pay invoices that are on hold status due to queries/complaintsWhat youll bring: Very strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner with stakeholders up to senior management level.Team player and ability to build effective working relationshipsWorking collaboratively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.Experience of presenting financial information to non-finance professionalsAbility to demonstrate high level of enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.Demonstrated analytical skills and excellent computer/systems skills with demonstrated spreadsheet and database expertiseDemonstrative IT skills within MS office to include ExcelWhy HCA UKOriginally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist HCA has gone on to become one of the worlds leading healthcare the UK were one of the largest providers of privately funded healthcare and have invested over 500 million in the latest treatments technology techniques medication and facilities.
