We're looking for a Head of Engineering to take ownership of the engineering function at a busy food manufacturing site in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area. This is a key leadership role for an experienced engineering professional who can blend strong technical expertise with clear, confident people management.Responsibilities:- Leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers.- Deliver the engineering strategy with a clear focus on prevention rather than firefighting.- Own and improve Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across the site.- Partner with Operations and New Product Development to support smooth product launches and line changes.- Responsible for the site CAPEX plan, from scoping through to delivery.- Manage engineering projects from concept through to handover.Candidate criteria:- Strong background in engineering leadership within a food manufacturing environment.- Strong technical grounding in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.- Proven track record of developing engineering teams.- Right to work in UK.For further information, please call Josh on 01780 483999 or email: As you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop.
