Pobl is working with an independent and highly-regarded medical communications agency to assist with the search for a Senior Medical Writer to join their experienced team in Oxford. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse and fascinating projects, from early development stages to pre- and post-launch, across various therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Respiratory Disease, and Women’s Health. You will use your scientific knowledge and excellent writing skills to transform data and clinical information into engaging and informative content. Additionally, you will deliver compelling presentations, write inspiring briefs, and develop creative strategies, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues.


This role could be perfect for you if:


  • You have a PhD, MSc, and/or BSc in a science-related field.
  • You have at least a few years of proven medical writing and content development experience in a medical communications agency.
  • You have an interest in working across all types of deliverables and accounts in publications, medical affairs and medical education
  • You have experience in delivering high-level meetings and are keen to travel internationally to support client projects.
  • You have a strong preference for hybrid working and collaborating in person with colleagues—this role requires a minimum of two days a week in central Oxford
