DescriptionSalary 25185 - 25989 per annum 26.25 hours per week Permanent Part time Kirkham and Wesham Primary School Kirkham LancashireUnit Catering Supervisor (Grade 4)Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire serving over 60000 school meals per day and we are looking for committedindividuals to join the service.You will work as head of the team in Kirkham and Wesham Primary Providing high quality healthy balanced meals for school children.Key responsibilities:Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.Direct and/or supervise other employees.Order supplies and store deliveriesMaintain records and stock control.Maintain agreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchen hygiene.Conduct LCC catering inductions to new members of catering teams.What we are looking for:Experience of large-scale cateringExcellent customer services experience essentialKnowledge of food service and supervisory skillsRecognized supervisor or team leader qualification would be desirable.Flexibility with start and finish times to support different unit services.A good handle on up-to-date allergen lawsWorking Hours/Days:Monday to FridayTerm time onlyPay is pro rata so advertised wage is for full time equivalent.26.25 hours per week equalling 5.25hrs per day although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake.This position is part time and term time only please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.The post you are applying for is covered by theRehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
