Due to sustained growth and strategic investment, they are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead transport and site operations across their South East region.DescriptionReporting to the Head of Operations, the Regional Operations Manager will take full responsibility for the effective running of a high-volume transport and logistics function, ensuring all activities are compliant, efficient and aligned with company standards.Key responsibilities include:Leading day-to-day transport operations, including scheduling, routing and resource allocationManaging a team of drivers, planners and operational staff, fostering a culture of safety and performanceEnsuring full compliance with O-licence regulations and maintaining all transport documentation to the highest standardOverseeing fleet utilisation, maintenance schedules and continuous improvement initiativesWorking closely with senior leadership to implement operational projects and optimise service deliveryMonitoring KPIs across safety, service and cost, identifying opportunities for improvementBeing the point of escalation for operational issues and ensuring swift, effective resolutionMaintaining strong relationships with internal teams, partners and external regulatory bodiesProfileThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:CPC qualification (essential)Strong experience managing transport operations, ideally within fuel, hazardous goods, industrial logistics or similar regulated environmentsProven leadership capability, with a track record of building high-performing operational teamsExcellent knowledge of transport legislation, compliance and health & safety standardsStrong operational planning, problem-solving and communication skillsThe ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environmentA continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to drive operational excellenceJob OfferOn offer for the succesful Regional Operations manager Candidate:Competitive salary in the range of £55,000 - £60,000Company car or car allowanceAnnual Bonus 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidaysMerit and Promotion opportunities annually.Life Assurance 4x basic salaryContributory Pension, minimum 4.5% Company contribution/up to 7% if matched by the employeeEmployee Perks portal, GP helpline and assistance programmesLogistics Distribution and Supply Chain
