As an Inclusive Living Disability Adviser, you will: Provide information, guidance, and support to people in receipt of Direct Payments (DPs), the Independent Living Fund (ILF), or Individual Budgets (IBs). Help individuals assess their needs, explore options, and put support arrangements in place. Support people with planning, financial monitoring paperwork, and recruiting/managing their own staff where needed. Liaise with other organisations and provide referrals to ensure service users get the right support. Deliver advice and training to individuals, families, and carers on self-directed support. Promote awareness of independent living through talks, presentations, and meetings.
