Vacancy – Commissioning Engineer – Control Systems
Hours – 40 hours per week
Salary – £40,000
Location:
Site-based commissioning with UK and Overseas Travel. Please note this role will involve extensive travel and long periods of time away The Role We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis, responsible for the programming, commissioning and technical support of control panels and automation systems. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position involving regular travel to customer sites across the UK and overseas. You will be responsible for commissioning control panels, troubleshooting systems and providing technical support to ensure projects are delivered successfully. The successful candidate will be technically capable, practical and confident working independently. Just as importantly, you will need to be calm under pressure and resilient when dealing with demanding customers and challenging commissioning environments.
Key Responsibilities
Programme and configure PLC and HMI control systems. Commission control panels and automation systems on customer sites. Carry out testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting. Diagnose and resolve software and control system issues. Provide technical support to customers during and after commissioning.
