Job ID:43081Location:Birmingham : 1 Trinity Park : BiPosition Category:EngineeringPosition Type:Employee RegularFull Time EC Directives Management Systems Auditor EC DirectivesNationwide - homebased with travelAbout the roleClients inPressure Equipment and Pressure Equipment Assemblies sectors depend on LRQA to effectively audit their management systems and provide assurance of business-critical compliance and risk management using EU Directives such as The Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.As a Lead Auditor with LRQA you will alone or in a team verify management systems across EU Directives and UK Regulations covering a wide spectrum of standards as well as broadening your professional horizons. You will act as an expert and examine and assess the implementation of management systems for our clients around the country.As well as undertaking risk-focused audits and making certification decisions yourself youll call on your accomplished people skills to guide and develop other auditors to cultivate positive client relationships and to proactively share feedback that helps us to keep improving the service we deliver.The role gives you the opportunity to obtain a healthy blend of travel and visiting client sites whilst retaining the flexibility to undertake remote audits when required.Its a very challenging and diverse role where you get to meet a lot of different people and encounter very interesting (technical) challengesJob requirementsIts likely youre degree qualified (or have equivalent experience).Recent experience of third-party auditing of management systems preferably with another certification bodyISO9001 Lead auditor experienceKnowledge and experience of undertaking Management System Audits for EC Directives such as Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive 2010/35/EU.Able to understand codes standards specifications and procedures Welding knowledge desirableAn understanding of how to manage client relationships.Good communication and decision-making skills; you can deliver clear audit outcomesComplete audit reports effectively and efficientlyPreparedness to travel when necessaryFlexible and proactive attitudePre-Employment ChecksIf you are successful in securing a role with us you will be subject topre-employmentchecks depending on the legal requirements and practices in your country of employment.If eligible these checks will include right to work identification verification of employment history education and criminal records where permitted by local law.All checks will be conducted in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.We will involve the third party supplier to run the background checks as needed and your data will be retained for a period as needed for the purposeof recruitment.To the extent to be permitted by the applicable local law your data may be stored outside of your employment country dependent on our operation structure.Your application of this role will constituteasyour consent on this paragraph.Diversity and Inclusion at LRQA:We are on a mission to be the place where we all want to work and we are passionate about embracing different perspectives because we understand the value this brings to our business our clients and each other.
