BDO’s Corporate Tax practice sits at the heart of our Tax function and plays an important role in the wider business. Our team works collaboratively with others across BDO, offering clients in the UK and overseas expert advice and solutions that help them overcome their challenges. You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

You’ll be someone with:

  1. Experience in providing R&D tax relief services.
  2. Qualified in either ACA or equivalent and/or CTA.
  3. Degree educated in science or technology, or computer science/software development.
  4. Ideally proven experience of working on several projects and experienced in working within a business unit with internal (and external) clients.
  5. Excellent communication (both spoken and written).
  6. Strong numerical ability.
  7. Be highly proactive in the approach to new work opportunities.
