Junior QA/QC Engineer

At the business unit Subsea Cables we are looking for A Junior QA/QC Engineer to take on this challenge. In this role you will be supported by Experienced Quality Professionals but will be expected to be proactive and able to work at times independently. You will support projects in the business unit in the development, maintenance and compliance of the integrated Quality Management System (Way of Working/WoW), in line with internal, client, legal and certification requirements. This goes hand in hand with continuous improvement of our standards and processes in order to achieve operational excellence. As a Junior QA/QC Engineer you will be required to travel abroad to visit projects and sites.Your Responsibilities As a (Junior) QA/QC EngineerCommitment to successfully completing the QA/QC Professional Development Program.Seek support from Experienced Quality Professionals during review and approval of completed tasks.Supporting completion of project and business unit QA/QC procedures, plans and instructions;Gain understanding of the tender and project quality documentations review; Support the delivery of the Internal and external quality systems audits; Coordination, participation and witnessing of inspection activities in compliance to Industry standards and Client requirements;Supported review of inspection documents, procedures, ITPs;Participate in NCR life cycle, including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action and final closure.Your Qualities And ExperienceYou can make your mark as a (Junior) QA/QC Engineer if you have:Good command of English (written and spoken).At least 2 years experience in a Quality related function is preferred however consideration will be given to people with a technical or engineering background/education looking to transfer or begin within the field of quality.Understanding of ISO 9001 is preferrable.Experience of electronic reporting /action tracking software.The following competencies are also important for the role of function:Great communicator who can work independently, as part of a project team, and across supporting departments.Attention to detail is evident with your reporting and produced works.Having a methodical and analytical approach to completion of tasks.We offerWhat You Can ExpectA clearly defined development program: Supported by Experienced Quality Professionals who are on hand to assist you in completion of our in-house QA/QC development program.A dynamic environment: A job that allows you to collaborate with a talented team of experts from different backgrounds and contribute to making a significant impact.Rewarding conditions: A competitive salary and much more, including holiday allowance, holiday entitlement of /2526 days (based on a full-time contract) and a number of collective scheduled days off, a non-contributory pension scheme, collective schemes such as company health insurance.Career development: We offer you plenty of opportunities to bring out the best in yourself for example through (online) courses at our Boskalis academy.Young Boskalis: Are you under 36?
