ELECTRICIAN Operational Base: Basingstoke, Hampshire The Opportunity We are recruiting an accomplished and quality-driven Certifying and Maintenance Electrician to join our dedicated housing services team, with a primary focus on operations within the Basingstoke area. This specialist role is critical for ensuring our portfolio meets all electrical safety standards, combining mandatory inspection work with comprehensive maintenance and refurbishment tasks. Core Responsibilities Electrical Inspection & Compliance (EICR): Take responsibility for executing the mandated five-year electrical safety testing program across residential and communal properties. Produce thorough Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and accurately specify and complete all necessary remedial actions identified. Perform initial verification and rigorous testing procedures for new installations, upgrades, and circuit additions. Repairs, Upgrades, and Voids Management: Provide effective and timely reactive maintenance, expertly diagnosing and resolving electrical faults for residents. Complete all electrical installations, checks, and certification required to ensure rapid and compliant turnaround of vacant properties (Voids).
