Senior Investment Performance Attribution Consultant

Job Description:
The Senior Consultant – Investment Performance Attribution will deliver detailed attribution analysis across a variety of portfolios, covering multiple asset classes and investment vehicles. The ideal candidate is a thought leader with strong analytical skills and relevant experience. This role requires high precision in generating performance attribution results for clients and various internal stakeholders. The position involves collaboration with teams such as Portfolio Management, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, and Investment Operations. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying and championing digital and automation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness, scalability, and team output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on performance and analytics, promoting best practices across the firm for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellence in attribution analysis and GIPS composites.
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for performance analytics, collaborating with vendors and internal partners to achieve optimal results.
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives to provide standardized and customized reports efficiently and accurately.
- Oversee data processes to ensure compliance with accuracy and timeliness standards, maintaining robust governance and data quality controls.
- Work with cross-functional teams to assess current operations and design future-state models, processes, and capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
- Contribute to global data governance standards, ensuring consistency and high-quality data across teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency and productivity.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of investment management, with expertise in equity and fixed income strategies, and familiarity with financial technology systems. Knowledge of alternative investments and performance attribution analysis is advantageous.
- Experience with attribution analysis; familiarity with BlackRock Solutions’ Aladdin analytics is preferred.
