Internship Mac GPU Driver Engineer

We are seeking an upbeat and focused individual with a strong passion to learn and succeed. The Apple Silicon Mac GPU Driver team needs engineers to design develop and support the Metal GPU drivers that power high-performance 3D rendering engines neural networks computational photography algorithms and are looking for a software engineer intern to work with our User Mode driver engineers in London. During the internship you will learn and apply knowledge of GPU architecture and GPU drivers to build novel solutions to enhance the GPU driver in use across all Apple platforms. You may also develop graphics and compute applications with the Metal API and Metal Shading Language to exercise the driver and GPU.Pursuing a Technical undergraduate or graduate degreeUnderstanding of the graphics pipeline or parallel computingGPU programming with Metal DirectX Vulkan CUDA Direct Compute OpenGL or OpenCLProgramming knowledge of C/CStrong problem solving and debugging skillsCompute system architecture knowledge including CPU or GPU architectureKnowledge of real-time graphics algorithms and machine learningOperating systems or compiler knowledge is a plusExcellent written and oral communication skillsRequired Experience:Intern Key Skills Inventory Control,Basic Math,Paratransit,Tanker Experience,Van Driver,Box Truck Experience,Commercial Driving,Commercial Vehicle Experience,Delivery Driver Experience,Manual Transmission Experience,Driving,Heavy Lifting Employment Type : Intern Experience: years Vacancy: 1
