This leading manufacturer seeks a CNC Turner to permanently join the team to help accommodate their consistently high workload. CNC Turner ResponsibilitiesSet & operate CNC lathes to produce components following engineering drawings and specifications.Ensuring that all components meet quality standards and are produced efficiently.Programming editing and optimising.Previous experience on multi-axis lathes is a bonus.Inspecting finished components for accuracy and quality.Working with tight tolerances and maintaining high levels of accuracy.Collaborating with the production team to adjust processes and improve efficiencies.Conducting routine maintenance on CNC machinery.Following all safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.This role is on a double-day shift so will entail a mix of alternating early and late starts. CNC Turner QualificationsProven experience as a CNC Turner with expertise in CNC Turning using Fanuc or Siemens control systems.Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and engineering specifications.Strong understanding of precision engineering and the ability to work to tight tolerances.Proficient in changing tools and setting offsets on CNC lathes.Capability to edit and optimise CNC programs when needed.Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
