Salary: Day-Rate to Scale: M1 - UPS3

Contract Type: Temporary Initially, with the Potential for Permanent Placement

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Full Teacher Responsibilities)

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of English for a temporary role at a school in Milton Keynes. This position involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Take full responsibility for lesson planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, candidates will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge in English and a commitment to inspiring students.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • A dedication to contributing to the school community and maintaining high educational standards.
