Requirements
  • Academic Qualifications: You should have an expected or achieved 2.1 or above in an IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. A master s degree or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Industry Experience: Previous work experience or placements in a related industry are highly desirable. This could include internships parttime roles or any exposure to mechanical engineering environments.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD or similar modelling software is advantageous reflecting your ability to work with the latest industry tools. Any experience in digital modelling or design will set you apart.
  • Soft Skills: You should possess excellent communication analytical and organisational skills which are critical for working within multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects efficiently. Your ability to communicate technical ideas clearly is essential.
  • Teamwork and Independence: The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently is key. You should be comfortable with both depending on project demands.
