We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Bristol office part of one of the largest independent consulting engineering firms in the industry.
Our Bristol team brings a wealth of experience across various sectors functioning as a hub of activity where MEP engineers collaborate with a range of specialist groups.
Youll be part of a talented diverse team of designers engineers and technical experts. While we work on largescale national and international projects our team remains agile offering plenty of room for professional growth and career development.
As a Mechanical Engineer you will work closely with experienced colleagues to develop and deliver innovative coordinated design solutions that meet our clients briefs and visions. Requirements
- Academic Qualifications: You should have an expected or achieved 2.1 or above in an IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. A master s degree or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be considered a strong advantage.
- Industry Experience: Previous work experience or placements in a related industry are highly desirable. This could include internships parttime roles or any exposure to mechanical engineering environments.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD or similar modelling software is advantageous reflecting your ability to work with the latest industry tools. Any experience in digital modelling or design will set you apart.
- Soft Skills: You should possess excellent communication analytical and organisational skills which are critical for working within multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects efficiently. Your ability to communicate technical ideas clearly is essential.
- Teamwork and Independence: The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently is key. You should be comfortable with both depending on project demands.
