Description: Job Description Offshore Chemist (Nightshift Rotation) We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Offshore Chemist to join operations within the UKNS. The position is structured as a rotational nightshift assignment with a duration ranging from 6 to 12 months depending on project needs and operational timelines. The successful candidate will be embedded within offshore teams and expected to work during night hours maintaining high standards of safety accuracy and reporting. Duration & Schedule: 6 to 12-month offshore assignment Nightshift rotation (12-hour shifts) Schedule may vary depending on asset location and operational requirements Key Responsibilities: The Offshore Chemist will carry out a variety of analytical and operational tasks. Monthly duties include but are not limited to: Oil-in-water analysis: Monitoring produced water quality to ensure compliance with environmental discharge regulations and optimize separation processes Sample collection and logistics: Coordinating offshore sample gathering labeling packaging and shipment to onshore labs following strict handling protocols General analytical chemistry techniques The chemist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records preparing reports and communicating findings to offshore supervisors and onshore technical teams. Training & Onboarding: All necessary training will be provided prior to deployment. The analytical techniques required differ from conventional offshore chemistry workflows and may be unfamiliar to the candidate. Hands-on instruction and technical guidance will be offered to ensure full competency in the required methods and equipment.
