Fettle Operator 7 Steel UK - Cardiff £26,275 Salary increase to£28,143 after 6 monthsbased on demonstrated technical ability and successful completion of probation at 7 Steel UK. Day Shifts 6am-2pm (Continental Shifts include every other weekend) You will be a crucial part of the production team by inspecting, maintaining and assembling a range of rolling equipment, which is vital for our Hot Rolling Mill to operate. Every day is different when you are an operator in our Fettle Bay. One day you could be stripping down a stand and the next changing over the rollers or guides. You will be working on a variety of machines, including some of the largest equipment in the industry. Experience working in steel or a similar role is desirable but not essential. Also having a mechanical background would be beneficial. If you have used hand held tools and workshop machinery, you will have all the skills you need to succeed. You must be conscious of your surroundings with health and safety being at the forefront of your mindat all times. Youll be joining a recycling companywe recycle scrap metal into new steel products.
