Wild PR is looking for an ambitious individual who is passionate about social media. Not just someone who says they are, but someone who can demonstrate results tied to achieving business goals, not just likes.


This is a new role within the business, and it is an opportunity to drive the end-to-end social media strategy while working alongside colleagues to ensure that Wild PR's social media efforts on behalf of its clients integrate with overall marketing goals.


About the role...

You will be involved in all aspects of social media, from ideation to planning, creation, implementation, and analysis. Working closely with the client services team, you will manage Wild PR and its clients' social media profiles.


We are seeking an effective communicator who is confident enough to present ideas, timelines, results, and analysis to clients when needed.  


Lastly and most importantly, you will be hands-on with your Social Media approach—creating written and visual content, scheduling posts, caption generation, photography and videography,  community engagement, and managing paid social media advertising.


About you...

We are looking for a creative and ambitious individual—a self-starter who takes their ideas and proactively puts them into action. You will have a passion for social media and always be ahead of the curve with social media trends, sharing insights with the client services team to support other areas of the marketing mix. 


In previous roles, you will have demonstrated working across all social media platforms in both an organic and paid capacity. 


You will predominantly work with a range of B2B clients, but we are looking to increase the number of opportunities within the B2C space with the appointment of this role.


This role presents an opportunity to grow a social media team within the business as we seek to achieve ambitious growth goals over the next two years.


Please note that Wild PR is a remote-first business with co-working space available at HUB26 (Cleckheaton) and Landing Pad (Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park). However, we expect the successful candidate to be within commuting distance of these locations. The role will also entail visits to client sites to create content.


Your expertise

  • 2-3 years experience in a social media role, creating and publishing content
  • Community engagement of social media platforms
  • Proven track record of producing engaging video and static content for social media
  • Demonstratable results in spotting trending topics and acting upon them
  • Ability to present strategy and results to both internal and external stakeholders', and in particular commercial awareness of how results support achieving the business objectives.
  • Ability to analyse data and refine social media strategy based on results
  • Ability to set up and manage paid social media campaigns
  • Proficient in Canva and other creative tools such as Photoshop
  • Ability to write engaging and grammatically correct social media copy
  • Ability to deep dive into social media scheduling and monitoring tools to maximise outcomes
  • Agility and flexibility to work in a small, fast-moving team
  • Proactive and ideas driven and have the confidence to communicate these ideas with the clients services team and clients


What you’ll be doing;

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to…

  • Developing and implementing the social media strategy for Wild PR and its range of clients
  • Appear on camera as a representative of Wild PR
  • Creating visual and written content using platforms such as Canva
  • Publishing a variety of content across relevant social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Liaising with the client services team to support the development of overall marketing tactics, to ensure integration across activities where possible
  • Assist with research such as identifying trends, target audiences, data insights and more
  • Work alongside the client services team to assess account performance and provide data and insights for monthly and quarterly client reports to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Contribute to ideation sessions
  • Contribute to wider marketing activity on behalf of Wild PR e.g. blogs, talks and presentations
  • Identifying and testing new tools to enhance productivity and levels of service
  • Incorporating SEO into your original content to maximise organic reach and traffic
  • Setting up and managing paid social media advertising campaigns
  • Having responsibility for ensuring Wild PR is on top of the latest social media trends, platforms, and functionality, along with implementing this knowledge and sharing insights with the client services team
  • Explore and implement new channels
