This Production Technician opportunity is working a 3-shift rotation with short days on a Friday. The company offers employee bonus, wellness programme, birthday celebrations, Christmas present, long service rewards, company events and more You will be joining the team of a growing company based in Sunderland that manufactures and supplies application systems in plastic packaging for the cosmetics, e-liquids and technical industries.  As Production Technician, you will: Undertake handover at the beginning of each shiftMaintain machinesPerform machine changeoversUndertake regular quality checksEffectively repair equipment, tooling, machines and peripheralsIdentify future preventative maintenance requirementsUndertake some mechanical repairsMonitor and check work that has been bonded (occasional)Provide informal training for new techniciansOccasionally perform operator dutiesEnsure the specification of the product is metMeet the standard cycle time, depending upon the specification sheetWe’re looking for a Production Technician with: A level 3 Qualification in Mechanical-EngineeringExperience with Novapax and Hester, injection blow moulding/Extrusion BM  machines.Physical fitness for tool changes on large machinery.Willingness to work overtime during busy periods.To apply for this role as Production Technician, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.Candidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.
