This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced supportive environment collaborating with colleagues across Social Security Scotland and the wider Scottish Government to achieve strategic goals and enhance our reputation.The Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Team within the Briefing and Engagement Branch plays a vital role in coordinating engagement with stakeholders and partners. Led by insight and evidence the team focuses on strengthening relationships gathering intelligence on emerging issues and supporting the delivery of our quarterly stakeholder engagement plan. As a key member of this team you will support senior colleagues and line manage a B1 Stakeholder Support officer helping to identify opportunities track risks and measure the impact of our engagement activities.If you are a proactive team player with experience working at pace in a large or high-profile organisation and you have a strong track record of delivering engagement activities we would love to hear from you. Join us and help shape impactful stakeholder relationships that support our organisational success.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesCoordinate engagement activities with stakeholder and partner organisationsIdentify new opportunities for engagement and collaborationTrack risks and issues and conduct horizon scanning to anticipate challengesLiaise with colleagues to update and maintain evidence supporting engagement activitiesProvide line management coaching and mentoring of a B1 Stakeholder Support officerAct as the primary liaison with the Parliamentary Briefing and Correspondence team regarding routine activity and correspondenceMaintain and review tools and processes to measure the impact and outcomes of team activitiesQualificationsSuccess ProfilesWe use an assessment framework called Success Profiles which lists the elements we test and provides detailed descriptions of each.
