You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.The International Private Bank (IPB) Technology team is looking to hire a highly motivated individual to be part of Platform modernization Technology team Glasgow. You will be part of a diverse global team supporting our underlying business and partnering with other technology teams to modernize the platform. Job responsibilitiesWill be part of high-caliber development team that works closely with business stakeholders in wealth management side to deliver end to end solutionsAble to work individually or as part of co-located team/globally distributed team to achieve on time delivery of projectsWill be responsible for full software development life cycle Requirement gathering design coding deployment management production issue managementAdhere to best development standards e.g. TDD/BDD CICDDeliver high quality code including 90% Code coverageBuild cloud native applications using private public hybrid cloud technologiesWillingness to learn and adopt to new technology and tool setsLearn finance domain to work closely with business stakeholdersRequired qualifications capabilities and skillsFormal training or certification in cloud concepts and proficient applied experienceSoftware development experience using Python ProgrammingExperience with one or more database technologies e.g. Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQLExperience in building REST APIs AWS Lambda.Experience in test-driven development and testing frameworksExperience in one or more cloud technologies like Cloud foundry AWSExperience in one or more messaging technologies e.g. Kafka IBM MQExperience in data formats like JSON XMLExperience in Agile development methodologiesExperience in CI/CD JenkinsAbility to innovate high level of motivation to get things deliveredStrong interpersonal skills and team building attitudeExperience with distributed caches like GemFire ehCache HazelcastExperience in version control tools like SVN GITPreferred qualifications capabilities and skillsExperience in Wealth Management domainExperience in no-SQL Database technologiesKnowledge on container technologies like Kubernetes DockerKnowledge on building Micro servicesKnowledge on monitoring tools like Splunk Dynatrace Key Skills Apache Hive,S3,Hadoop,Redshift,Spark,AWS,Apache Pig,NoSQL,Big Data,Data Warehouse,Kafka,Scala Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
