Salary: £47k + 10% Bonus + Benefits


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 5:30

Reporting to the Group Lead Planner, the Engineering Planner will develop and manage engineering planning systems, planning standards and development of CMMS. Working alongside maintenance teams and interfacing with operations teams in the pursuit of planning efficient and effective maintenance tasks.


Other duties of the Engineering Planner will include:


  • Develop, implement and maintain a work order preparation and staging process
  • Produce work packs which contain all the necessary paperwork
  • Communication of tasks cross functionally
  • Host planning meetings for customers to influence planning priorities
  • Assign work orders to the appropriate skill sets.
  • Source and collate parts required for planned tasks
  • Assist engineering stores in producing job kits
  • Monitor and manage planning KPI's
  • Develop and manage a closed-loop feedback/improvement process for planned tasks


We are keen to speak with Engineering Planners with the following skills/experiences:


  • An experienced, time-served craftsperson
  • Experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Previous maintenance planning experience
  • Previous data analysis experience, for the purpose of making improvements.
  • Strong technical, fault-finding and diagnostic skills, to find and alleviate root causes of problems
  • A team player who can lead others in the resolution of technical issues.
