Purpose:
Ensure excellent IT services and application availability. Oversee outsourced IT infrastructure and service desk functions, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
- Manage outsourced IT providers and ensure SLAs are met.
- Address vendor performance issues.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure IT infrastructure meets standards.
- Oversee Microsoft Azure and on-premises systems.
- Implement and manage IT projects.
Service Desk Oversight:
- Ensure timely issue resolution.
- Supervise on-site IT engineers.
- Align helpdesk with internal policies.
Service Delivery Management:
- Ensure IT services meet needs and quality standards.
- Optimize Microsoft Azure and Exchange Online.
- Monitor performance metrics.
Operations:
- Implement IT policies and best practices.
- Manage incident and change processes.
- Oversee system administration and asset management.
Security and Compliance:
- Adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Implement security measures and conduct assessments.
- Plan disaster recovery and backup procedures.
Project Management:
- Lead projects involving Microsoft Azure and Exchange Online.
- Ensure projects are on time and within budget.
- Manage project risks and milestones.
Person Specification:
- Degree in technology or business.
- 4-6 years in IT operations, 1 year in a managerial role.
- Strong cybersecurity and ITIL experience.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server.
- Experience with outsourced IT services and vendors.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience with legal IT systems (preferred: iManage, Aderant Expert).
- Ability to work with confidentiality and discretion.
