Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our growing team in Uxbridge, London. You should have proven experience in customer service and mortgage administration, both in a commercial and regulated loans environment.We would particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in term expiry and bridging loans, and who have excellent customer service and communication skills.As a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:Regular communication with customers who are experiencing payment difficultiesDiscussing and negotiating arrears workout options, e.g. arrangements, capitalisation, workouts, shortfall sales etcMonitoring agreed workout strategies to ensure they are complied with and taking action in accordance with the Special Servicing Manual where appropriateCreating and submitting referrals to line Manager for all requests outside mandateEffectively handling inbound and outbound arrears and collections customer and third-party calls, offering excellent customer service at all timesDelivering accurate and timely processing of loan administration activitiesRegular communication with customers and clientsConducting all primary servicing activitiesEssential Skills:Bridging Loan experienceExperience with residential and buy to let mortgagesPhone-based customer service experienceInsolvency/collections – The ability to understand and appropriately utilise systems and processes for the benefit of debt collection.Legal and compliance – The ability to understand and utilise legislative requirements for the benefit of the organisation.Risk – The ability to assess and mitigate risk for the benefit of the organisation.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Self-reliant and self-motivated.Able to work within established internal controls and maintain a high standard of quality across all your tasks.Detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.Benefits:Salary up to £37,000 per annumHybrid workingPrivate medical insuranceSalary Sacrifice Pension matched up to 8%25 days holiday plus bank holidaysEAPEnhanced maternity and paternityWellbeing and volunteering DaysEye care contributionPayroll GivingLife AssuranceAdditional Information:This position is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial office-based training), of up to three days a week office attendance.About Pepper AdvantageThe UK arm of Pepper Advantage was established in 2013, and today we’re one of the most successful and dynamic loan-servicing businesses throughout the four home nations.
