Our client, a Magic Circle Law Firm, is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their office in London. Within this role, you will advise the firm on issues relative to new clients and matters, such as client confidentiality, conflicts of interest and reputational/commercial risks.


The ideal candidate must have experience within a reputable, international law firm. Comprehensive knowledge of the law is desirable, specifically regarding legal risk and compliance, along with experience in AML and conflicts gained through relevant roles.


Some responsibilities:

  • Implement solutions to potential conflict or confidential-related issues
  • Perform CDD and KYC assessments on new clients and matters
  • Identify sanctions risks regarding potential and existing clients/matters
  • Monitor clients via CDD policies
  • Draft consent letters and produce needed information barriers
  • Assist in the upkeep of firm-wide policies and procedures to ensure issues are handled appropriately
  • Stay informed on changes to relevant legislation and guidance
  • Carry out firm-wide risk issue training
  • Advise staff on relevant legislation and firm policies relating to AML, regulatory compliance and conflicts of interest


This role is perfect for someone with exceptional organisational, analytical and research skills with executive proficiency within Microsoft Offices.
