ManagingGarden Centre - near Alton - £15ph + tips

Our client a family owned garden centre are looking to recruit a
senior chef to join their team.
As a chef at our popular restaurant, you'll create a stunning
selection of diverse menu items for our customers. You'll be
able to put your skills to good use creating masterful dishes, as
well as mouth-watering cakes. You will enjoy working with and
receiving assistance from our team who will help you make and
deliver meals to customers promptly.

The role includes
*Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
*Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
*Assisting with the management of health and safety
*Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
*Managing and training any trainees
Monitoring portion and waste control
*Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety
standards
*Ensure all areas of the kitchen and storage areas are clean
ready for use.
*Coordinate food purchasing, budgeting and planning
operations with other staff members
*Inspect cooking equipment, supplies, work areas and
ingredients to ensure constant conformance to regulatory
standards.

The position is contracted as 40 hours per week on daytime
shifts from 8am - 4pm and includes one shift at the weekend.
