Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual with either a degree or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or a related field to join our team as a YouTube Content Creator and Science Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that educates, entertains, and inspires our audience. You will utilize your expertise in science to develop engaging scripts, explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, and experiment with different formats to captivate viewers. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in your field and incorporate them into our content strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and script engaging video content on topics related to science, physics, and chemistry.
  • Present scientific concepts in a clear, concise, and entertaining manner for a diverse audience.
  • Create visually appealing graphics, animations, and demonstrations to enhance the educational value of videos.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure high production quality and adherence to brand standards.
  • Stay informed about current trends and developments in the fields of science, physics, and chemistry.
  • Engage with our audience by responding to comments, questions, and feedback on YouTube and other social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analsze video performance metrics to optimize content strategy and audience engagement.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative ideation for new content initiatives and series.


Requirements:


  • BSc or PHD in Science or equivalent
  • Demonstrated expertise and passion for science, with a strong understanding of fundamental principles and theories.
  • Proven experience creating educational or informative content, preferably for digital platforms such as YouTube.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging narratives.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and experiment with different content formats and styles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and reliable scientific content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and strategies for maximizing visibility and reach on YouTube.
  • Passion for science communication and a desire to inspire curiosity and learning in others.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing a YouTube channel or creating content for a large online audience.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies for audience growth and engagement.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and motion graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
  • Experience with livestreaming and engaging with viewers in real-time.
  • Active presence on social media platforms with a demonstrated ability to build and engage with communities
