Job Title: Business Analyst - Financial Systems

Location: Warrington, United Kingdom

Salary: £50k-£60k

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in our organisation by collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyse, design, and implement solutions related to financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements related to financial systems
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing financial systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation
  • Design and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure effective implementation of system changes and enhancements
  • Conduct regular system testing and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Monitor and assess the performance of financial systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximise system utilisation
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial systems and business analysis

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on financial systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with financial software and systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Financial, SAP, Oracle, SAGE, QuickBooks)
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working independently or as part of a team
