Maintenance Electrician (Days)

Circa £38k (depending on experience & qualifications)

We are working with a Smethwick based manufacturing company who seek an electrically bias maintenance engineer to join a small team; immediate start available and working a day shift pattern (no shifts).

Role Expectations: 

  • Maintain all plant equipment to standards expected
  • Completion of preventative maintenance tasks
  • Fault find and carry out repairs
  • Involvement in projects like new installations and relocating of new and existing equipment
  • Record and document work completed using PC/Mobile based maintenance software
  • Relevant engineering qualifications

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems & electrical maintenance practices
  • Working knowledge of PLCs for fault finding
  • Experienced in electrical fault finding and repairs

Role Information/Benefits

  • Salary circa £38,000 per annum
  • Day's based role 7:30 - 16:00 (Finish 1 hour earlier on Friday)
  • Overtime paid at x1.5 and x2
  • 21 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays (Increases to 25 Days after the first year)
  • Workplace pension scheme after 3 months (3% Employer contributions)
  • Free onsite parking
