PE Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic PE teacher who is looking for a new teaching role? Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with a school in South Gloucester who are looking to employ a PE teacher to help cover a maternity leave from January 2026 until January 2027. The job will involve teaching classes from Years 7 to years 10, with an FTE of 0.6 and will be paid to scale. The successful candidate will have values that align with the school, be a positive role model to the pupils and bring a new and exciting energy to PE. The successful applicant: Have Qualified Teachers Status Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1. Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
