Production Operatives
to join our friendly Production team based in Crediton. The hours for this role are averaged at
42 hours per week , working 12-hour shifts on a rotating continental shift pattern. This includes days, nights and weekends within a four-week cycle. Production Operative Responsibilities Ensure the safe and compliant manufacture of products under the management of the Shift Manager. Carry out production and processing activities by operating, monitoring and managing process and packaging machinery. Complete all required production checks in line with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Conduct audits, defined sampling and testing routines, and undertake relevant quality checks. Ensure an effective handover at the start and end of every shift. Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including: Reporting all accidents and hazards. Performing tasks safely in accordance with Risk Assessments, SOPs and formalised training. Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Production Operative Requirements Experience of, or the ability to, operate process machinery within strict processing guidelines whilst complying with food safety requirements. Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within time constraints and prioritise and manage your own workload to ensure targets are achieved in a fast-moving environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a high level of accuracy and commitment. Employee Benefits
