Sub-Arc Welder

With work until at least 2025, and likely beyond, this could be your next long-term role into the futureKey Responsibilities:- Perform submerged arc welding on sea fastening rings at the bottom of Transition Pieces (TP).- Execute double butt welds around a thickness range of 50-60 mm on TPs with diameters around 8-9 meters.- Operate two CNC-controlled submerged arc welding machines with manual override controls.- Use two welding wires per machine to achieve precise welds.- Weld both the outer and inner double butt welds using the outer machine for the outside and the inner machine on a long boom for the inside.- Ensure the TP is rotated while the machines remain static.- Follow a sequenced welding procedure with stop/starts to maintain specification tolerances and prevent distortion from heat input.Requirements:- Proven experience in submerged arc welding.- Familiarity with CNC-controlled welding machines.- Ability to handle double butt welds on large structures.- Strong attention to detail to maintain welding specifications and tolerances.- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other welders and project staff.Hours of work are Monday-Thursday (Apply online only)hrs & Friday (Apply online only)hrs.If you are a Sub-Arc Welder and have the required skills and are ready for a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you.Apply now by sending your updated CV to (url removed) or calling (phone number removed).Join us and be part of a team that values precision, quality, and teamwork
