Class 2 Driver Location: Leigh Shift times: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Pay Rate: £15 per hour We're currently looking for full-time Class 2 Drivers to join us at our site in Leigh, with immediate starts available on a temporary ongoing basis. Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions. What you'll do on a typical day: Carry out multi-drop pallet deliveries, typically completing 5 to 15 drops per day. Deliver to a range of customer sites and branches across the region. Deliveries will be offloaded from time to time by the customers however drivers will need to be willing to offload themselves using tail lift / pump truck. Operate your Class 2 vehicle safely and in line with company and road safety standards. Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary delivery paperwork. Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with VOSA and legal roadworthiness standards.What you need to succeed with our client: A valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
