Job Description:Are you passionate about Warehouse and Distribution and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at the Cullompton site. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of 6 forklift drivers and Office Personnel tasked with offloading and sorting palletised freight for onward loading of local delivery. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and supervision overnight to a team of 6 Forklift drivers and Office staff. Operation debriefs with shift Team Leader and ensuring loading of vehicles is completed. You will also be required to work closely with the transport teams to ensure the smooth running of the operation. Coordination of activities including Holiday & Sickness cover planning, Operational communications, Health & Safety compliance and equipment maintenance. Assisting with team brief topics and documentation. Managing the equipment maintenance and service schedule for the operational equipment. Investigating all queries, both internal and external. Assisting in production of KPI's and daily statistics. Requirements: Counterbalance Forklift Licence required. Experience working within the pallet network industry is desirable but full training provided. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Solution-driven and flexible approach to work. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Why Join Gregory Distribution Ltd?
