Extra Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic for their well-established longstanding client in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will deal with the maintenance and repairs of HGV vehicles. The work will be completed in accordance with industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.Responsibilities of a HGV MechanicMaintain, inspect, repair, and test the vehiclesPrepare the vehicle ready for annual MOT inspectionCarry out safety inspections to all HGV Vehicles to VOSA inspection manual standardsAttend vehicle breakdowns and diagnose and repair faults as requiredComplete all company paperwork as required dailyTo maintain work areas in a safe and clean conditionTo ensure that all relevant legislation and Health and Safety procedures are adheredDetails of an HGV Mechanic:Duration: PermanentLocation: WolverhamptonSalary: £20.00 per hour (Negotiable)Hours: 7.30am to 4.30 (40 hour week)HGV Mechanic Skills and Experience:Experience working on refuse VehiclesFull driving LicenceMinimum 5 years’ experience of working with all aspects of HGV and light commercial maintenance and repairExcellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and to set deadlines and prioritise tasksIrtec License or EquivalentPC LiterateFor more information please apply or call Pinki or Jakub on (phone number removed)
