We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative distinguished engineering firm at their site based in Chapel-en-le-Frith.This role involves despatching spare parts for a variety of products to a global customer base, ensuring accurate and efficient shipment.What’s on offer? * £13.54 per hour * Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm / Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm * 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Employee pension scheme * Free onsite parkingWhat will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative? * Picking and packing parts for shipment, paying attention to fragile and delicate items * Taking photographs of packed items for evidence in case of damage or missing parts * Controlling stocks via the 'Fast Track' system for internal transfers and external despatches * Monitoring spares store to ensure optimal part location and accuracy * Putting away new spares stock in appropriate locations as per the computer system * Performing basic kitting/assembly of sub-assembly parts prior to despatch * Arranging despatch of goods via freight carrier or courier service as neededWhat do you need? * Previous experience within a similar role * Current license for FLT, pedestrian-controlled stacker trucks, and overhead cranes * Computer literacy with experience in Street ‘Fast Track’ systems and online courier booking sitesIf you possess the required skills and experience for this role, we want to hear from you.
