We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our activities team at our exceptional nursing home Randolph Hill in Dunblane near Stirling, ideally working 39 hours per week. We could also consider a job share with two people working 19.5 hours per week each.Job PurposeTo provide activities for the residents in the nursing homeTo uphold residents rights to choice, privacy and dignityTo communicate information to relevant personnelTo keep up-to-date documentation as required by company policies and the regulating bodiesTo uphold residents participation strategyTo promote and show loyalty to the company and residents, both inside andoutside the nursing home and respect confidentialityTo treat colleagues with respect and ensure teamwork is goodMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo plan activities, taking into consideration the varying different needs andabilities of the residentsTo discuss plans with residents, eitherindividually or in groupsTo seek feedback, comments and suggestions at resident meetings and fromfamilies/visitorsTo meet regularly with Manager/Deputy to discuss plans and seek advice onfinancial mattersTo participate in Entertainment Committee meetings to set out longer termplans
