This hybrid position combines remote working with occasional onsite or in-person clinical or team activities as required in central Belfast. The Digital Therapist plays a central role in providing psychoeducation and goal-focused therapeutic support to employees and students presenting with mild to moderate mental health needs.Hybrid role - 50% or more onsiteWithin 1 1-mile radius of BT7Monday to Friday Evenings included up to 9pmResponsibilities:Provide goal focused therapeutic support to individuals contacting the service.Triage assessment to determine best pathwayAssess clients needs and provide immediate telephone crisis counselling/interventions.Identify the presenting problem and determine appropriate service response level as per case response level standardsMaintain appropriate records of all therapeutic activity and outcome measures.Liaise and consult with other professionals working across the service as appropriate.Contribute to research and evaluation of the service as required.Operate within all policies procedures and guidelines of the service.Participate in team meetings and attend other meetings as deemed necessary.Working on specific tasks required relating to service development and expansion of service.The above job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties involved and consequently the post holder may be required to perform other duties as appropriate to the post which may be assigned to them from time to time and to contribute to the development of the post while in office.Requirements:A recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy with a minimum of 450 supervised practice hours post-qualification required .Full accredited membership of a recognised professional body or organisation which is governed by a recognised code of ethics and disciplinary process (i.e. BACP BPS BABCP NCPS (professional accreditation) etc..Experience working with a variety of clients reflecting a wide range of clinical presentations.Experience of screening clients and identifying any risk.Experience working with clients using short term models of therapeutic intervention particularly CBT.Experience and interest in working with clients aged 16.Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team.Ability to plan organise and prioritise own work.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Good computing skills: Microsoft software (e.g. Word Excel Teams) email internet video conferencing software and CSM software.Able to work afternoons and evenings (max 9pm).Desirable:Experience working within an EAP service.Experience working online via phone and video.Training in high intensity CBT TF-CBT or EMDR.Experience working with clients presenting with issues of addiction.Ability to work therapeutically in a language other than English.What are the benefits of working at Full-time or Part-time permanent contractHybrid role - 50% or more onsiteFull training provided between Monday and Friday 9 am to 5 pmWorking hours: Monday to Friday Evenings included up to 9pmCareer Progression for clinical and non-clinical colleagues Individual clinical supervision in-houseExtensive list of employee perks and benefits: us is a whole-of-health digital partner that guides organisations and their people to thrive delivering clinically backed digital health mental health and wellbeing solutions.Our HealthTech delivers digital transformation for Insurers Educators and Employers through Co-creation or seamlessly integrated out-of-the-box solutions that decrease digital fragmentation and engage empower and transform their peoples lives.Established in 2018 by Stuart McGoldrick and Stephen Costello provides services internationally to over 7.2m insurance members 3000 corporate clients 60 universities and 650000 university students. currently employs over 350 people.Our vision is to change and save as many lives as possible.
