An opportunity to join our clients growing Belfast operationA CPC qualified transport expert requiredAbout Our ClientOur client is a leading FMCG logistics provider.Job DescriptionReporting into the site General Manager, the Regional Transport Manager will have responsibility for a large-scale transport operation and an associated cross dock site. Based in Belfast, the role will be responsible for a team of c110 colleagues across the distribution teams and will play a key part in the site growth and the overall customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities will include:Full accountability and responsibility for the performance of the transport department, including achieving auditable standards.Ensuring that all Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met.Monitoring key performance indicators and ensuring they are achieved through effective management of direct reports, focusing on service, costs, compliance and engagement.Contributing to, planning and executing the day-to-day operational strategy.Ensuring that housekeeping standards and safe systems of work are met and maintained in line with Health & Safety at Work Regulations and local standards are in line with the company Health & Safety policy.Recruiting, developing and managing direct reports to suppo...
