Engineering Director

Permanent

Salary – Dependant on Experience/Negotiable (Bonus + Car Allowance)

Monday – Friday

Basingstoke M3 Corridor


As Technical Director you will be responsible for leading the engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering and Project Management functions. As the most senior technical employee in the business, you will be responsible for championing quality, drive for customer satisfaction, establish and deliver a NPD strategy and continually develop the team across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the Product and Process Engineering teams.

• Lead the development of existing and new products.

• Lead the development of existing and new manufacturing processes and tools.

• Lead the engineering specification of our developments/buildings.

• Manage design activities relating to product specification, design for manufacture, production and installation of modular components within Stelling Properties developments.

Key Competencies:


• An excellent first principles engineer with great mental agility.

• A proven design professional with a demonstrable track record of working within projects from acquisition through to completion.

• Varied experience across a range projects and disciplines, able to show curiosity and breadth of knowledge.

• Instinctive, effortless and detailed understanding of the structural, thermal and acoustic performance of different materials and structures/shapes

• Knowledge of manufacturing and building techniques and tools
