As a Cleanroom ECSS Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the adherence to quality standards in Space Equipment production, particularly in accordance with ECSS-Q-ST-70-08, 28 & 38. Joining the team in Portsmouth to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety in a dynamic aerospace environment.Responsibilities:Champion a quality-first mindset to prevent non-quality issues in the cleanroom.Monitor and enforce world-class workmanship standards and cleanroom practices/processes.Conduct inspections on Flight Hardware and Test set-up to validate compliance with design and quality standards.Identify and address non-conformities, collaborating with manufacturing engineering and relevant stakeholders.Assist in root cause analysis of non-quality events to prevent recurrence.Perform internal audits and complete QVP verifications as directed by the Equipment Quality group.Support operational tasks including critical move and flight packing activities.Promote a culture of Health and Safety and 5S practices in the cleanroom environment.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and mitigate any associated risks.Conduct documentation checks, approve reworks, and manage quarantined equipment.Review and verify the certification of Production and Test staff participating in process activities.
